Don Alejandro Addams founded this house in 1891 on a single principle: that certain objects are not merchandise but inheritances — held in trust, moved rarely, and only into the right hands. Four generations later, under Gomez Addams, that principle has not softened.

We advise museums, universities, private collectors, and the stewards of historic estates across the world. We are not a shop and not an auction house. We are a quiet advisory practice for those who already own things of consequence and want what no catalogue will list.
